MPA'd From Lyric Lemonade
Around 2001 or so. I'd run out of 31/2 inch diskettes to back up my petz onto. My dad was getting a bigger hard drive put in so that I could have more room for petz, and I could get Windows 98 SE. The tech wouldn't listen to me about where the folder I wanted to save was. He was more interested in listening to Dad.
He wiped my petz folder on my desktop. He presumed that my petz were in the My Documents folder. (Which was empty.) I lost 12 petz from a grab bag that day. ( Hotmail accounts were tiny back then, and I couldn't keep the email they came in.)
The only one I'd even gotten to play with was a tall Scottie mix named Monster. Vinh is almost Monster's twin. Vinh has a Mutt Patch that Monster didn't. When Lyric offered him up for MPA I unashamedly begged for him.
Please make sure you back up your petz. If you have a way to put back up copies in a second location in case of fire. Please do that too. <3
