Introduction!
Since the Camp Petz 2025 is a year long event, I thought I'd better take notes. It ended up turning into a blog, or journal, entry-ish thing. I thought would be fun to share! Feel free to poke me on discord, or though my contact form with feedback 💜 (Spelling corrections, and grammar suggestions, are especially appreciated!)

Camp Petz was announced a few days ago (Jan 3rd) it sounds like we're in for a year of fun. Lots of events big and little.
It sounds like we'll be doing activities for acorns (points). They haven't announced if there will be prizes, or if we can turn them in for things... Like the points I'd get for reading books at the library's reading program when I was little.
During the first few days we filled out a form with petzy skills that we're good at, and those we're not so good at. After a lot of thought on event runner's part ( Celia, King Harry, Witzy, hash, Nebula, and buck), we got sorted into cabins. I'm super excited that I got selected to be in a cabin with my sister site Bunni 🐰 of Funfetti, as well as a lot of others I'm looking forward to getting to know better.
We were asked to pick out cabin colors, a mascot, and a name yesterday. That sparked a lot of fun debates, and loads of good ideas. Color swatches were scattered everywhere in our cabin. So many you couldn't see the top of the table.

I didn't think save everyone else's... I ought to go back and do that, there were so many good choices I could use later on.
When things got more solid Witzy made mood boards. Then one of our cabin leaders, Nebula, set up a survey so she could tally the votes for what our mascot would be.
We're now waiting to find out what it'll be tomorrow. I liked everything that was chosen for the survey, it was hard to choose.

Harry Made an announcement and I missed it until now. There's going to be badges to collect as well as acorns. Fun! (He even said my blog entries could count for art points💜)
There's a lot of different things to do that I've done before, and some things I'd like to try. They're hoping to set up a discord bot to count acorns so we don't have to keep an individual score card. But have provided a spreadsheet so we can plan out what we want to do.
(January Clean 2025 counts toward my annual task of hosting a member event... Phew! I hopefully will think of something else to host later.. but still that's at least two tasks ticked off. ✅✅)
Now to figure out this whole badge making thing. Witzy made some good suggestions!
