Mostly quiet for me, things didn't get started until evening my time. Celia posted up a list of events.. The ones I got to do on the 8th were...

The dog and cat breeding contest.  Witzy bred a set of petz from each for us to start from, then we were to combine those petz in any combination with or without OWs and pick the cutest of the results for the contest.

Posted my coloring sheets to the event server in discord.

Angora and Tea helped me learn how to play Skribbl.io. I ended up playing a few rounds with them.

 The first day of the month was pretty busy for me camp wise. Lots of people wanting to start the month off with tasks done. I managed too..

Also there's an event that started a few days ago (Run by ECrose and Skissors) where you try to guess your petz favorite color and flavors.

I got Spekles favorite food, but not her favorite color.
I didn't guess right at all on Flip.

Oh well. It was fun to try.

Amanda from Cargo Posted two awesome wallpaper packs for the playpen! One is grasses, and the other pack is grass with wildflowers.

KillerQueen made a cute campsite playscene! (Pictures later... I want to try them out when I show them off.

Speaking of playscenes... I made my first one for camp! I'm going to keep it exclusive to PL for a bit (until I figure out how to set it up for download at least).  It's a lot easier to make them than I thought. I want to try to make another one soon. I think petz has spawned a new sub hobby 😂

Since no one has worked on the cabin Kitty hex in a few days. Hash Declared it finished. Here' s the final file. So cute!

Also I put up a litter of 6 Humming Bird Chihuahuas.. At 1:28PM CST  they were all gone by 2:18PM  I'm still in shock that so many people liked them so well.

January 26th:

More ongoing work on the NIB Dali's.

I decided I'd better buckle down and try and show Denise before the end of the month. I may be too late to collect the acorn for this month, but at least I can grab them next month.

I spent the rest of the evening working on a crew update, and making stamps for future updates.

January 27th:

More showing for Denise today. Szmantha did a very good job posing her. She's gotten 1st place a couple of times!

Bailey was looking for someone to host a playdate with. I sent over Oreo, and asked if she had someone she wanted to host one. She sent me one of her cuties Splotch! (Splotch ended up making friends with both Flip and Oreo!)

January 22, 23, and 24th

The last few days have been mostly quiet. Several folks have been sick, and of course with it being the middle of the week, busy at work.

Hash's game of Two Truths and a lie continued, and petered out. Then she asked what was the ONE thing we wanted to learn this year.

That's a hard thing for me to narrow down as I tend to be one of those folks that wants to learn all the things when it comes to doing stuff around petz.  I chose to talk about wanting to learn how to make custom bows. And for offline things I want to learn how to knit a sweater.

This sprouted a fun side discussion into knitting, and music. 🎵

Kayla posted a pretty stamp for everyone to collect.

Witzy has steadily made progress helping us figure out a NIB line that works for most of the cabin.   Everyone did  decide on PHD"s Surprise Dali OW. Today (24th, Friday) I did the breeding for it. 

My final 5th generation pup turned out very pretty.

I named her Smokey Mountains.

Hash couldn't resist joining in on our group hex and added on some very cute touches!

The extra touches of red and white are extremely cute!

The other day Bird suggested a stamp round up thread for the event.  I volunteered to put it together, and I did that today.


Witzy's getting together a NIB (Non inbred) line... And making suggestions on how our cabin could work together so that those of us who don't like doing NIB lines could work together on one. Which is a good idea. 

There's a possibility of a PDH surprise Dali line... That file is one of my weaknesses! If that one gets chosen or the Dane, or Lab, I'll be tickled.

With everything going on yesterday I forgot to mention that Hash posted a group hex toy from her cabin. It's a cool fishing rod that petz can tug the end of.

Today Abby (also from Hash's cabin)  posted skins for the carrying case. They look like vines on a garden fence, and she made variations for each cabin.  Of course ours has a cute bunny 🐇

And Dew posted a stamp!

Tabbz posted a hexing event.  Hex a Bun. Assigning 3 bunnies per cabin, in each cabin's colors.

AshleyKap signed up for the brown bun - Mycology
Kyla - signed up for Sweetheart the Pink Bunny.
Heather snagged Corduroy(? I have trouble reading the font) the black bunny.

I'm excited to see what they come up with. (I offered to help with paintwork if they want me too, that's about all I know how to do consistently so far.


Hash decided to do an Ice Breakers thread for us.. First one up is 2 Truths and a Lie.  I'm watching to see how it works.  I've never played it before.

January 18th "Banner Reveal Day"

 Today was the day that we learned more about the other cabins... I called it Banner day in my head so long that I don't actually know what the real name is... Let me look.  Harry just called it "the REVEAL".  That works too XD

We are officially no longer cabin-1 we are now...

Harry then invited ((Cough)) us to show off the things our cabins had made. It was a good kind of Chaos, lots of cute hexed petz, clothes, toys, play areas ad ons. Stamps, and so on.  There's not enough room in this entry for all of it.  I'll share what I can as we go along later on.

The Playlists from the Petzapaloza event were released too. I haven't listened to ours yet... That'll be something to do with my headphones on later. 

 I made a stamp. It took me over two hours. I had to find a plugin for paint.net to do the text. Then I think 75% Of the time was fiddling with the background colors to get them to look nice.

5pm update... The lovely Amanda Of cargo put up a stamp for everyone. Perfect for Banner day:

Voting for album covers.  It's very hard to choose.

Tea was nice enough to make a text list of all the songs for those of us that don't use Spotify!



Later... Now with the offer of a stamp. Everyone was asked to submit a song to make a playlist for harry so his 'cabin' won't be left out.

I suggested..  Try Everything by Shakria because Harry is always encouraging us to try new things.

January 16th

 I spent most of my petz time today working on the group hex. The colors turned out close to what I wanted, and as a bonus I learned how to color ears in LNZ. 

Kayla went next, and added a strawberry to the kitties little head, and colored the whiskers. So cute😍

 

 

 

 

 

 January 17th

First A group hex update. Megan added textures, and a little whipped cream on it's tail! I love it!  I wonder who'll be next?

Helen made a tutorial for how to expand our task spreadsheets that KingHarryy made to count our acorns. Learning new spreadsheet tricks is usually pretty fun.  It's a programming language all of it's own, sort of.

After asking for suggestions...I bred a calico litter for our cabin. (Thanks for the suggestion Nebula!)  The ones that weren't cabin colored I put up on TPB to try for part of my 20 petz to sell.

Now to figure out what to breed for the adoptions channel on PL. Maybe I'll do something with that Dali OW that Keena was talking about in PAAC.

Also Megan made cute little acorn hats and put them up in campfire goodies for everyone.

Tomorrow is the 18th. I've been calling it banner day in my head as it's the day all the cabins have a big reveal of their theme's and colors.  KingHarryy said we're the cute cabin. As in we went with a cute atheistic. Cottage core with rabbits and pink, cream, and brown. Also Ice cream, lots of ice cream.

Apparently we're at almost 200 acorns (points) collected this morning. I'm sure it'll be close to 200 if not over 200 by the end of the day if my cabin mates can manage it. 

Nebula posted a bulletin board with some reminders.

There's a new board up for everyone that's messing with using AI images to make things.

I got the new clothes and posters put away, and in my game this morning.

Hash reminded us to put our site on the Petz Wiki, and suggested we support another players posing service. (Szmantha).

I did follow hash's suggestion to put my site up on Petz wiki, and corrected the status of All the Rest (another petz site gone, sadly) as that had been bugging me.

I sent Denise into Szmantha, I've been wanting to show her for years. Szmantha's so nice to offer to do this, I'm terrible at getting good show poses.

I imagine once the dust settles I won't be taking quite so many notes.... 😂 

I woke up this morning to find two new cabin exclusive playscenes made by  Dahlia. More on those in a later post...

We're going to have Hares as our cabin animal. We're going to use the term loosely it's going to apply anything hare shaped.. So rabbits and bunnies too. Several folks have made pretty mood boards evoking Beatrix Potterish vibes, and ice cream, as well as cottage core. Some others are talking auroras. There's lots of ways to go with the theme.

We also picked a shade of pink to be our "team color" for our names in discord chat. It's a soft rosy pink color, so I like it. XD

 January 9th

I woke up to another pretty playscene to try out this morning,  Mossrose made a neat board to display our badges if we choose, And Tabbz made a bug catching net.

More pictures added to choose from for the banner, but not much progress yet. It's still early-ish in the day though. (It just turned 4pm in my time zone). It'll be awhile before those that are at work get home and ad too.

Task tracking is up Now to look over the list again and post what I've already done... I've completed 4 tasks so far.

Tea's making playlists for each cabin. We each pick three songs and submit them. Someone's going to put the songs on a spotify playlist for us to listen too.
